In 2005, Ditmyer Investments, Inc. was formed to provide residential housing and services to the Northwest Ohio region. The company continued to evolve and grow, with window cleaning being TLC’s first service entry. Hence the original name TLC Window Solutions. As time went on it became clear that the area was underserved in a number of exterior maintenance services, so TLC set out to fulfill those needs.

What does TLC stand for? Tender Loving Care. Our success in business and in life stems directly from a commitment to work harder, think smarter, and care more than the rest. For nearly two decades, we have been obsessed with meeting and exceeding the needs of those around us.

Making It Easy. During the coronavirus pandemic, we recognized that business and home owners needed faster, easier, and more professional services to help them maintain their properties and businesses. Despite extensive expansion, we doubled down on ensuring our clients received the perfect harmony of personalized care and ease of service they deserve.

  • We can price most jobs by utilizing advanced AI software, aerial imagery, building records, and our pricing formulas that we’ve been perfecting for over a decade. We also provide in-person assessments for large-scale and specialized projects.

  • Depending on the weather, our service experts usually start around 8am and work until the scheduled jobs are completed. You can call our customer service 24 hours a day, with our main offices open Mon-Fri 8am to 4pm EST.

  • We can perform work around commercial operating hours (manufacturing, industrial, office, public spaces, etc.). We normally do not perform residential work on weekends unless it is a special occasion, we may be able to accommodate.

  • Yes, our service experts receive extensive initial training, as well as ongoing training using OSHA and IWCA(International Window Cleaning Association) material. Experts performing work requiring a Aerial Lift Operation or Rope Descent System Certification have up to-date certifications, training, and equipment.

  • Yes, we take you and your property’s safety seriously, and perform background checks prior to hiring any service expert.

  • Our service experts operate from our various locations, and work is usually applied to the closest available service expert unless specialized skills or equipment is required. Therefore, most times it will be the same person/team. All visit details including who performed your work is stored, and upon request we can certainly ensure the same team comes to your property. In the event of us needing to come back to a jobsite due to quality concerns or unfinished work, it will indeed be the same person/team unless that person/team is deemed unable to effectively handle the situation.

  • We use specialized products for each service we offer, most of which are organic. We use only the industry's best applications to ensure you are receiving the best ‘cleaning’ possible.

  • In certain situations we can work with client-supplied materials, namely in commercial applications. Please keep in mind that this does void any guarantee or warranty implied on the service.

  • Service times vary greatly depending on the work being performed. Our average residential job will be between 2-5 hrs for 2 service experts to complete.

  • Depending on the need, we can very likely provide you with a quote or even scheduling within 4 minutes using either of our online booking features. A similar time frame applies if you call us during our office business hours. If you email us or send in a quote request form, you can anticipate a response within 8 hours.

  • We care about your satisfaction. If you are home when the work is complete, you will be offered the opportunity to review the work before we leave. After every visit, you will also receive an email with the opportunity to rate your experience from 1-10, and a live phone call to make sure you are completely satisfied. You can also review us online, at Google, Yelp, Facebook, and more.

  • If we receive negative feedback or complaints in any way, we immediately call the client to find out what their ideal resolution would be. If unavailable by phone, we will also communicate by email and text message to ensure we can find a solution immediately. Depending on the time of year, most re-visits are completed within 3 days, and many times next-day or same-day.

  • Yes! We offer most of our services on recurring plans. No contracts, and subscription-like ease.

  • It's not necessary for you to be present, but we appreciate clear access to the windows. If you have specific instructions or concerns, we can coordinate accordingly.

  • Yes, we specialize in cleaning windows of all types, including hard-to-reach windows and mid-high rise buildings. We have designated service experts that are trained and certified to operate Aerial Lifts and Rope Descent Systems to OSHA and industry standards.

  • Light rain usually doesn't affect the quality of our service. However, in case of heavy rain or inclement weather, we may need to reschedule for the safety of our service experts and the best results for your windows. If we do perform the work in a light rain, and afterwards you feel that the rain had an effect on the results, contact us and we’ll re-visit the work at no cost.

  • No, 98% of our work is completed by our employees, using our trained methods and equipment.
